Accepting students Beginner through Early Advanced
Amy has brought up my confidence in my playing as well as my technique. I have learned things from Amy that even the piano professors at the college here in my town didn't teach me. I am playing much more advanced music now than I thought would even be possible. I couldn't be happier!

ABOUT THE STUDIO - What Are Our Piano Lessons Like?
Kids love music. So why do many kids end up disliking piano and eventually quitting then regretting it later as an adult.
The Problem
Most kids view piano lessons as "just more homework," another task that has to get done.
Why??
Sadly, most piano lesson programs focus very little on creativity, music appreciation, or enjoyment. When a teacher taps into a child's natural curiosity and sense of exploration, encouraging children to have fund and to relax at the piano, they remove roadblocks and inspire and motivate children to greater musical heights.
The Solution
Amy's Academy's mission is to help students "Discover the Gift Within" and then develop that gift through innovative methods that help fuel student interest in music instead of dampening it.

Our PREMIERE PIANO STUDIO includes Music Lab time, group lessons, performance events, ensemble experience, and more!
At Amy's Academy we have a a collection of learning games, digital resources, and activities for musicians that help students enjoy lessons and keep them motivated and engaged. We help children learn piano by integrating a variety of learning avenues, from at-the-piano time, to music lab time (off-the-bench time), to group lesson time and more. Whether playing on the studio iPad(s) or playing a learning game, students love reviewing and reinforcing concepts during Music Lab time. Often they don't even want to leave.... "Can't I stay longer?" (Mayley, age 6, Dec. 2017).
Older students aren't left behind either. They have the same access to the Music Lab resources. Older students move towards more advanced repertoire faster through a core basis of technical exercises that develop students skills and technique at an accelerated pace.
